Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

Modus Horlogerie is a brand of INOVEA GROUP SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company registered under number 989 849 849, with its registered office at 21 avenue Guy de Collongue, 69130 Écully, France. Contact: contact@modus-horlogerie.fr.

2. Products

Modus watches are designed by Modus Horlogerie and fitted with Seiko movements. They are not made, sold or endorsed by Seiko; Seiko is a trademark of its owner. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but small differences in color or finish can occur.

Custom watches are built to the specification you choose in the configurator. Please check your text, logo and engraving carefully before you order.

3. Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include U.S. import duties and taxes: nothing is charged at delivery. Shipping to the United States is free. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but never on an order already placed.

4. Orders

Your order is confirmed once payment is accepted; we send you a confirmation email right away. We may cancel an order in case of a payment problem, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud, and refund you in full if we do.

5. Payment

Payment is made at checkout, run by Shopify: Apple Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and major cards. We never see or store your card number.

6. Shipping

We ship with DHL Express, duties paid, to street addresses in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Estimated delivery: 5–8 business days for catalog watches, 9–12 days for custom watches. Details on our shipping page. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us right away and we'll sort it out with DHL.

7. Returns

You can return any watch, custom watches included, within 30 days of delivery: unworn, unadjusted, in its original packaging. We provide a prepaid return label and refund the full price within 14 days of receiving the watch. See our return policy.

8. Limited warranty

Every watch carries a 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects affecting the movement, the stated water resistance (5 ATM) and general operation. It does not cover damage from impacts, misuse, water exposure beyond 5 ATM, opening by an unauthorized third party, or normal wear of the strap or crystal. Under warranty, we repair or replace the watch at our expense. This warranty is in addition to any rights you have under the law of your state.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, such as carrier disruptions, customs holds, natural disasters or strikes.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your state of residence. If something goes wrong, write to us first: most problems are solved by email within a few days.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you place it.
